Today, we celebrate more than just the passing of 24 years — we celebrate a lasting legacy of love, hope, servant leadership, resilience, and community transformation.
Founded in 2002, the First Community Resource Centre was born out of a clear vision: to break the vicious cycle of destruction that traps so many children, young people, and families. Situated in the heart of Hanover Park, FCRC continues to stand as a beacon of hope in a community facing complex social challenges.
Our Core Belief
For over two decades, we have remained unshakeably committed to creating environments where hope can flourish. Through our diverse programmes and initiatives, we continuously remind our community of our core message:
    • Your circumstances do not define your future.
    • Your past does not determine your destiny.
    • Every single life possesses inherent value and purpose.

Behind every programme is a human story. Behind every intervention is a life deeply touched. Behind every young person given an opportunity is a future that shines a little brighter. These milestones are the direct result of dedicated individuals who believe our community deserves better.
